I’ve got a new phone… my L6 beside my new Z610i …. masih jakun nih.. huhu..

Alhamdulillah… everything’s fine setakat nih..
I’m learning to get myself organized… preparing for lectures beforehand.. household stuff (masak n all…).. and the things that I have long abandoned… need to start it back!

And Alhamdulillah.. the port in my room is fixed! so from now on I can blog comfortably.. just hope I can control myself not to spend most time in front of this laptop… (..hmm.. right now wondering when any of my family members will be online.. wanna have a chat with any of them and view their web cam.. miss Hanaa…wanna see her.. i want to cubit2 her cheeks.. )

Anyway.. yups.. classes started yesterday. I’ve chosen Solar System and The Cosmos as my favorite subject now. The lecturer is kinda boring.. so soft and all.. but the content of the subject.. the knowledge.. I love it. Reminds me soo much of ESQ. I can actually recognized a video that was being shown in ESQ.. Terasa betapa kecilnya kita… and how stupid we are…..

And that reminds me of this Physics lecture we had yesterday… we see how people from the start of the human history, have always been like this, you know.. like, so self-centered.. so perasan.. like “who do you think you are??”

We can see that from the very early geo-centric theory (everything revolves around the earth)…
why do we think we are so important? why does everything has to be revolved around us? we are merely specs of dust in this infinite space.. how can we be so arrogant? ……..

With the problem I’m having, I know I should’ve prepared an entry beforehand. But knowing me, I can never blog if I know I don’t have internet connection. Okay.. now I’m trying.

What’s the hikmah of me not having internet connection eh? Huhu, lots actually. I know. Most of my time are not spent infront of the computer anymore. But I feel rather cut off from the world. By world, I actually mean Malaysia. Because, seriously, it has been almost 2 weeks since the last time I read or watched Malaysian news. Any important news, guys?? How’s our Mr Prime Minister doing? hehe…

Today’s quite cold compared to days before. Maybe because it was raining all night long. I went to Caulfield this morning, Grr.. cold morning! Aku meredah pagi yang sejuk dan windy… ~ that was around 9.00 am. When I reached Caulfield (my friend’s house) around 10.30, it was still so cold and windy. Windy~ Windy~ I love the cool winds… but it’s getting hotter in the evening..

Hope summer ends soon…

Anyway, classes will start next week! my first class will be Mathematics A. My timetables for this first semester is quite packed. Average 4 slots of classes/lectures/labs everyday. But it is okay, I guess. No 8 am class. And I am quite free on Friday (Classes only from 11 am to 1 pm). But I have to go back at 6 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Oh, forgot to tell my subjects for this semester.. There are..

Now’s 10.49 am. Today is cool too. Comfortable coolness. Autumn will officially start on 24th March. But the sign of it can already be seen. Leaves have gradually turned orange and yellowish.

I got a call from Kak Aliya around 11 and she invited me to her friend’s house warming feast. I went out around 11.30 (coolness.. I like it..) and now I’m back again (now’s 3 pm). Hmm.. have concluded that when evening comes, the hotness will come too.. haha..

So for 2 consecutive days, I had lunch for free. Heheh.. yesterday at Caulfield and today at Heidelberg. Alhamdulillah.. so yummy, too. Thank you…

It’s cool meeting new people. Lots of Malaysian here in Melbourne. So you won’t feel like you are in Australia.. that’s how I feel. I feel like I’m still in Malaysia… just that I’m at a different state which I’ve never been before..

Oh, classes start tomorrow! Am I excited? maybe..

Tomorrow InsyaAllah I’ll get a new phone… I wanna change my mobile service provider. Right now I’m using vod@fone prepaid. I’m gonna change to 3’s cap plan (like bill, and you’ll get a new phone). Am so excited. Coz I’m trying to get hold of this sony ericsson which I have been dreaming off since it was first advertised in Malaysia.

I think Australia has a very good mobile phone service. I mean, you just pay like $30 per month, but you get like $120 credits. On top of that, you’ll get a free phone. Not just cikai2 punya phone! Slide phone, flip phone.. and canggih-canggih one.. Malaysia should tiru this kind of service. Just that you are bonded with 2 years contract. So you have to use just that phone for 2 years. I don’t know whether my phone can tahan 2 years. I mean, all my phones before, paling lame pun a year… bukannye because the phone tak bagus.. tapi because I’m such a ganaz user..

Okay.. right now I’m in my friend’s room. My housemate.
I still prefer blogging using my own laptop. I got loads of pictures.. but I dun like many. Haha.. pictures of me that is.. I’m not photogenic..
Anyway.. I dun want to spend too much time using my friend’s laptop.. so here goes just 2 pics.. hehe.. susah nak pilih gambo and upload..

Me and Esther at Docklands. So hot! but windy… Esther’s umbrella selalu terbalik.. huhu.. docklands got nothing much.. just docks.. with beautiful surroudings…

This is my apartment here.. the arrow shows which one’s my apartment. So expensive, la.. the rent. Next year we’re moving out! definately.

Anyway.. living here requires a lot of walking. (If you don’t have car that is). I’m so tired.. huhu. But I haven’t explore the whole melbourne yet! I’m excited to go out and see all of the interesting things.. but I’m soo tired.. huhu..

The uni is quite near to my apartment, about 15 mins walking. Can go by tram, but tram ticket is quite espensive. (Tram is like a train.. on the road.. kadang-kadang derang kongsi jalan with cars.. but usually have their own track in the middle of jalan raya).

The Uni is not as huge as I imagined. UTM or UKM.. or maybe UNITEN have bigger lawns. It’s because all the buildings are so near to each other.. so it’s easy to go anywhere at uni.. just that I got lost quite often.. all buildings look the same.. haha.. but I’m getting the hang of it.. (but map’s with me all the time).

We’re starting classes next week! This week is orientation. But I don’t follow much. Most of the days are filled with boring talks.. As for subjects, other than Physics and Maths and all the subjects concerning my major, I’ll be taking up psychology! hope it’s fun.. the subject description sure sounds so..

Um.. and yeah.. halal meat is easy to obtained. But they are quite far from our accomodation. So we’ll go there (brunswick) once every 2 weeks, to buy our meat supply.. rempah and barang-barang masakan malaysia pun easy to be obtained.. banyak ada at downstairs supermarket.. senang nak masak!..

I’ve got to go now.. dah lame sgt dok komputer orang.. huhu.,. rase tak sedap..
sorry, cerita pun cam tergantung.. waa.. cepatla betul port tuh..

Right now I’m having difficulties accessing the internet. The network port in my room is not working. There are many available computers around but I don’t feel comfortable blogging using computers other than my own, besides all the staring eyes… huhu..

So.. just a short update from me, to tell that I’m fine here!

I miss blogging so much. And I am looking forward to tell all of you what’s going on here.. just hope the network port in my room will be fixed ASAP!

Oh, I miss Malaysia. I’ve concluded that I like Malaysia better… heh…

I was rummaging through my drawer to see if there’s anything important I should bring along, and I found this! What a nostalgic item..

As I’m counting the days left, I requested my mum to cook things that I long craved for. So a few days before she made this lasagna.. and yesterday she cooked ayam kuzi.. and today she cooked kambing sedappp.. huhu.. gonna miss her cooking!!

When I typed “keep on dreaming” this morning, little did I know I’m gonna get this today.. Alhamdulillah.. hehe… now keep on dreaming for a camera, k.. haha

This is the baby I’m gonna miss the most!!…

It’s already Thursday. One, two, three, four… four more days and I’ll be in Melbourne.
I don’t feel like updating. Somehow I feel so out-of-spirit. I admit that I feel rather excited but unprepared and don’t feel like going at the same time.

Anyhow, I have to be prepared, right.

I’m not quite sure what to write. I’m just afraid I couldn’t find the time to post my last entry from Malaysia.

Tomorrow evening, InsyaAllah, we’ll go to KL. Why so early, eh? Haha. My dad got some works to be done, meeting and stuffs. And my mum wants to ajak all of us to the Pameran Saintis Islam at KL Convention Centre. And I may find the time to meet up with some friends at UIA. Dunno yet lar…

Maybe unbelievable… but I haven’t fixed my laptop yet… haiya.. when, ar?
Um, only less than 3GB of space left in my laptop. Huhu… I want an external HDD… keep on dreaming.
I want a new camera…keep on dreaming…
I want a new watch…keep on dreaming…

How come I only know just now?!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (HPDH) will be released on 21st July 2007!

oh, I’m excited!.. I wonder how the situation is, there in Melbourne.. on the day the book is released. In Malaysia, the craze is not really obvious. I could get the copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with ease. No queue what-so-ever (no, I’m not one of those people who queuing up even before the store opens) . I hope I won’t experience a hard time (kene rebut or abes stock, worst case scenario) getting a copy of HPDH at local bookstores there.

Oh, it’s pricey!! gotta start saving up, now!…

People have been asking me how to download videos from YouTube. It’s easy, really. Just that its quite leceh.

First, make sure you have Mozilla Firefox installed on your computer.

Then, go to the menu up there .. TOOLS –> ADD-ONS –> GET EXTENSION (small link at the right hand corner).

Then just search for any add-ons/extensions that says something like “video downloader”. I’m using Fast Video Download. But I’ve tried Ook and some others which work just as fine.

When you have installed that add-on, an icon will appear at right hand corner.

Now you can try loading a youtube video that you intend to save, in your browser. Wait till it finishes downloading. Then just click the icon that appeared earlier. A common save-as dialong will appear, save macam biasa (like normal saving la).

That’s only the first part. And I know, Opera also has widget that can download this kind of video, but I found Mozilla’s more convenient (yerp, have tried).

When you have downloaded that, you’ll realize that your video is in FLV format (flash video). And sadly, winamp or windows media player can’t play this format. So how??

Yerp, have to convert.

And again, sadly, no ordinary converter can convert FLV to avi or any other format. Have to use specific converter.

I’m using RIVA FLV encoder. Just type “riva flv encoder download” in Google. You’ll find it. Yes, its free.Not trial version what so ever. Neat.

You’ll find using this converter is simple when you know how.. haha.. read some tutorial, k. Rajin lah mencari.. I spent quite sometimes searching for converters and learning how to use them. Sila tidak teragak-agak utk mencari juga.

And there you go!

If you find you cannot hear any sound, or cant see any images after converting the video, that means your computer doesn’t have certain codecs. So, just download K-Lite All-In-One codec , k. Then install to your computer. Again, search it at Google. What is codec, you ask? Sorry, wrong person.. haha.. Takpayah la tau.. yang penting download ajer.. I don’t really know.. I just know I need it to view my drama/videos/movies.

Akhir kata…. carilah video-video yang berguna di youtube tuh. Banyaaak! Documentaries best-best and clips2 nasyid. Kene pandai cari!
